Principal Biographies Alan Hart. Mr. Hart is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Cedar Ridge Partners, LLC and serves as the Portfolio Manager for Cedar Ridge Investors Fund I. Prior to founding Cedar Ridge in March 2004, he was an investment banker for 21 years specializing in municipal bonds and high-yield, structured transactions at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., Goldman, Sachs & Co and The First Boston Corporation. He holds an M.B.A. (Finance) from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and received a B.S. (Business) from California State University, Chico.
Guy Benstead. Mr. Benstead is a Partner and Chief Compliance Officer of Cedar Ridge Partners, LLC and Chief Risk Manager for Cedar Ridge Investors Fund I. Prior to joining Cedar Ridge in March 2005, his investment banking career spanned 22 years at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and Drexel Burnham Lambert. He holds an M.B.A. (Finance) from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and received a B.A. (International Relations) from the University of California, Davis.
Jeff Hudson. Mr. Hudson is a Partner of Cedar Ridge Partners, LLC. Prior to joining Cedar Ridge in October 2006, he worked in the securities industry for 13 years, including Lehman Brothers where he focused on High Yield and Distressed Municipal Debt, J. Giordano Securities Group, Charles Schwab & Co. and Smith Barney. He holds an M.B.A. (Finance) from the University of Connecticut and received a B.A. (History and Political Science) from Syracuse University.
David Falk. Mr. Falk is the Director of Research for Cedar Ridge Partners, LLC. He has over 25 years of broad-based fixed income securities experience as a trader, research analyst and investment banker. Prior to joining Cedar Ridge in August 2009 he focused on the municipal securities market at DEPFA First Albany Securities, Bear, Stearns & Co. and Lazard Freres & Co. He holds a Master of Regional Planning degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received a B.A. (Economics and Urban Studies) from Northwestern University.
